The Lake Isle
The Lake Isle is the musical project of North Carolinian, Mark Dougherty.
To date, The Lake Isle has penned a double “A-Side” single, which consists of early demo versions of “Into the White” and “Sinners and Saints”; both of which are currently being re-recorded at Pinebox Studio (brainchild of Brian Haran, guitarist of Greensboro’s Filthybird) for an upcoming full-length LP.
The Lake Isle blurs the acoustic stylings of Mojave 3, the lyrical work of Sun Kil Moon and the vocal prowess of the Stereophonics, and adds its own blend of lush guitars, expansive harmonies and dreamy atmospherics.
